Senior Manager - Design & Architecture - Real Estate

Role Overview:

As a Senior Manager - Design & Architecture, you will serve as the creative and technical anchor for our premium real estate portfolio in Gurugram. You will oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle, bridging the gap between architectural vision and structural feasibility to deliver iconic residential and commercial spaces. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including project management, construction, sales, and external consultants to ensure that every project aligns with our brand standards and market expectations. Your work will directly influence the aesthetic appeal, functional efficiency, and long-term value of our developments, ultimately shaping the urban landscape and enhancing the living experience for our end users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the conceptualization and development of new product designs to ensure our projects remain competitive and innovative within the luxury real estate market.

- Direct the structural design process by coordinating with engineering consultants to ensure all architectural plans meet safety, compliance, and efficiency standards.

- Manage the entire design lifecycle from initial feasibility studies through to final execution, ensuring that project timelines and quality benchmarks are strictly met.

- Evaluate and select architectural firms and design partners to ensure that the creative output consistently reflects the company's vision and design philosophy.

- Optimize space planning and architectural layouts to maximize project profitability while maintaining a high standard of occupant comfort and utility.

- Mentor internal design teams to foster a culture of excellence and technical precision across all ongoing developments.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in architectural design and structural coordination, with a deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methodologies.

- Proven ability to lead complex design projects from inception to completion, balancing aesthetic ambition with commercial viability.

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate with stakeholders, manage external consultants, and drive consensus across multidisciplinary teams.

- Exceptional communication abilities to articulate design concepts clearly to senior leadership and project partners.

- A degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from a premier institute, complemented by 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in the real estate sector.

- High adaptability to an on-site work environment in Gurugram, with the capability to manage field visits and office-based design reviews simultaneously.
