Senior Manager - Brand Capital

Favcy Brand Capital helps high-growth startups gain national visibility through media properties owned by Favcy, in exchange for a long-term stake in their growth. Selected founders appear on our television and digital shows, including Kal Ke Krorepati on JioHotstar and the upcoming Rally Pitch India, backed by PR, digital promotion and founder storytelling.

About the Role

This is a business development role. You will find the right founders, pitch them a stake-based media partnership, and close the deal. You will spend most of your time sourcing, pitching and closing, and the rest handing over to our delivery teams and staying in touch with founders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of revenue-stage startups through our network and your own outreach
• Screen companies on traction, business quality and founder potential
• Pitch Brand Capital to founders and CXOs as a growth investment, not an ad buy
• Negotiate partnership terms within approved parameters and close deals
• Hand over smoothly to production, PR and content teams
• Stay in touch with founders through delivery and look for referrals and repeat opportunities
• Keep the CRM and pipeline updated

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience, with a track record of closing high-value, long-cycle deals
• Background in media sales, venture capital or accelerators, or premium B2B or investment-product sales
• Comfortable discussing valuation, dilution and fundraising with founders
• Strong network among founders, VCs or accelerators (an advantage)
• Persuasive communicator, in person and in writing
• Self-driven, and able to build your own pipeline and manage multiple relationships
