Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. This is an engineering role. Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end cloud infrastructure as code automation is essential. The ideal candidate has strong experience on a major cloud platform (Azure preferred), modern DevOps tools and practices, solid networking and security fundamentals, and a good understanding of Linux and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Engineer and manage Kubernetes environments (AKS/EKS), including cluster setup, upgrades, ingress and access control
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Manage cloud networking: VNets/VPCs, VPN, software-defined networking, network and application load balancers, DNS, API gateways and routing
• Implement cloud security best practices and support compliance standards
• Apply GitOps practices to manage deployments and configuration
• Manage code and project files in Git, following version control best practices
• Write shell scripts and automation to reduce manual effort
• Monitor and improve system performance, reliability and availability
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and recommend process improvements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and assign tasks to ensure quality standards
• Work with cross-functional teams, vendors and customers to align on requirements and standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in an infrastructure engineering or DevOps role, with strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code and public cloud
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure (mandatory). AWS candidates are considered only if Azure is a solid secondary cloud
• 2+ years of hands-on experience engineering Kubernetes solutions and the associated ecosystem
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (modules, remote state, multi-environment setups)
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins (pipelines, Jenkinsfile, shared libraries)
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and cloud security principles
• Hands-on Linux system administration and shell scripting
• Good understanding of GitOps
• Strong Git skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
