Senior Landscape Architect - Concept Design

We're looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to take complete design ownership of projects, from brief through concept, schematic and design development to a clean handover to our Technical/GFC team. This is a design leadership role, reporting to the Design Head.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs, site context and project positioning, and challenge incomplete briefs
• Lead landscape concept development: narrative, theme, zoning, amenity strategy, materials and planting direction
• Guide spatial planning and schematic design, and improve the team's work with clear, constructive direction
• Direct 3D visualizers and review all presentation material for one coherent design story
• Present independently to clients, explain design rationale and convert feedback into actionable changes
• Lead and mentor a team of 2–5 designers, with task allocation, reviews and quality control
• Manage project schedules and man-hours, and control revisions
• Work with the Estimation team on budget checks and value engineering without losing the core concept
• Protect design intent through technical coordination and GFC review

Requirements

• B.Arch with a Master's/PG in Landscape Architecture preferred, or B.L.Arch / equivalent qualification
• 6–10+ years of landscape concept-design experience (design maturity and leadership matter more than years)
• Excellent conceptual design, spatial planning, design storytelling and client presentation skills
• Strong team leadership, planting and material knowledge, technical understanding and time management
• Good commercial and budget awareness
