Job Brief

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Atlassian Ecosystem Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence.
• Querying & Scripting: Strong mastery of Jira Query Language (JQL) for building advanced filters and dashboards.
• API & Integrations: Familiarity with Jira REST APIs and integration protocols (webhooks, OAuth) to connect Jira with external enterprise systems.
• Instance Configuration & Customization: Designing, building, and maintaining custom workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens, and custom fields tailored to different departmental needs.
• User Management & Security: Administering user accounts, groups, roles, and global/project permissions. Ensuring strict adherence to data security and access restrictions.
• Jira Data Schema Architecture: Designing, documenting, and maintaining a scalable enterprise Jira data model. Standardizing custom fields, issue types, and screen schemes to prevent custom field bloat and maintain high system performance.
• Access Control & Governance: Implementing and auditing strict security boundaries across Jira projects using Project Roles, Permission Schemes, and Issue Security Schemes.
• Senior (7+ Years): Leads overall enterprise Jira strategy, handles large-scale cloud-to-cloud migrations, manages system architecture scalability
