About the Role
You will be a technical owner for key areas of our web application, driving design, quality, and delivery across the Angular + Go + PostgreSQL stack. You will lead module-level design decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with product to ship customer-impacting features in OT cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of features end-to-end, from UI to API to database.
- Design REST APIs, database schemas, and migrations on PostgreSQL.
- Build and refactor backend services in Go (Echo).
- Architect and improve Angular features, including RxJS-based state management, Tailwind CSS, and the Nx workspace.
- Drive web application performance: bundle size, lazy loading, change detection, API latency, and query efficiency.
- Ensure secure web application practices: JWT auth, RBAC, audit logging, and OWASP-aligned code.
- Lead code reviews, raise the engineering bar, and mentor 34-year experienced engineers.
- Improve observability and cross-platform packaging of the application.
- Collaborate with the team on release planning and incident response.
Must-Have Skills
- 4-7 years of professional full-stack experience shipping production web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Echo or similar) and Angular (2+) or another modern SPA framework, with willingness to lead in Angular.
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, browser rendering, caching, CORS, and session/token handling.
- AI-Assisted Software Development, LLM-Based Coding Tools, AI-Powered Code Generation, Debugging and Optimization, Automated Test Generation, API Development, and AI-Driven Development Workflows.
- Solid PostgreSQL skills: schema design, migrations, indexes, and query optimization.
- Experience designing REST APIs, implementing JWT/RBAC-based auth, and writing secure code (OWASP fundamentals).
- Hands-on with CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar) and Linux deployments.
- Experience reviewing code and guiding less experienced engineers.
Good-to-Have
- Background in cybersecurity, OT/ICS, or compliance products (IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIS2, ISO 27001).
- Experience with WebSocket-based realtime features.
- Exposure to monorepo tooling (Nx), Uber Fx (DI), Koanf, or similar.
- Familiarity with cross-platform packaging (GoReleaser, MSI, RPM/DEB, distroless images).
