Job Purpose

The Senior Business Finance Analyst/Manager role will drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance for APAC CU and EMEA-APAC Region. This role requires a deep understanding of financial metrics, business drivers, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to Senior stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting:

• Lead the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze financial trends, performance metrics, and key business drivers to provide accurate forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment with business goals.
  
  

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Prepare and deliver monthly and annual management reports and dashboards.
• Analyze variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and actionable insights.
  
  

Strategic Support

• Provide financial modeling and decision support for business cases, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Support the leadership team in scenario planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Optimize financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging tools and systems to improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices in data analysis and financial modeling.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a financial business partner to various departments, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with regional or global finance teams to align on financial goals and processes.
  
  

Region support

• Work with Regional finance and operating teams on a need basis to support regional goals and deliverables
• Take up adhoc projects/tasks as needed under the guidance of the Regional/CU Finance leader and complete these on time
  
  

Job Requirements

Education:Qualified CA with 10-12 Yrs of experience is preferred or any Accounting/Finance Degree with a professional qualification in accounting / analysis or MBA Finance.

• Experience in Agriculture/Pharma, Technology or FMCG industries as a business finance partner will be an advantage. Experience managing the planning and reporting process for a large business in an MNC environment is preferred.
• . Deep understanding of Share Holder Value creation and elements of ROIC
• Expert in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have worked in an ERP environment – e.g. SAP, Oracle
• A high level of Ethics, Compliance and Fiduciary mindset along with an attitude of collaboration, Respect for People, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity and safety
• Curious and fast learner who can breakdown complex problems into smaller chunks to solve them effectively
• A good communicator who can adapt their style to the situation and the stakeholders.
