About this role
- Provide IT support for day-to-day operations of the bulk cargo terminal.
- Maintain IT infrastructure, computers, networks, servers, communication systems and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Commercial, Stores and other terminal functions.
- Support IT systems used for cargo documentation, inventory, billing, gate operations and terminal reporting.
- Maintain connectivity between terminal offices, operational areas and other required locations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
- Manage user access, IT assets, system backups and basic cybersecurity requirements.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for maintenance and support.
- Support integration and maintenance of operational systems, CCTV and other technology-enabled terminal facilities.
- Maintain IT records, documentation and asset registers.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and information-security requirements.
- Lead digitization and automation initiatives
