Senior Executive | Operations

Role & responsibilities

1. Inventory Operations

• Ensure accurate barcode-level inventory tracking and timely updates in Odoo ERP.
• Monitor inventory ageing, stock availability, damaged items, and non-moving inventory.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain physical and system stock accuracy.
• Investigate inventory mismatches and ensure timely closure of discrepancies.

2. Refurbishment Operations

• Coordinate refurbishment of furniture and appliances received from customer returns.
• Follow up with refurbishment vendors and technicians for repairs, cleaning, servicing, and restoration.
• Track refurbishment turnaround time, repair costs, and pending jobs.
• Ensure products meet defined quality standards before being marked rental-ready.
• Monitor spare-parts availability and consumption wherever applicable.
• Identify products requiring major repairs or scrap consideration and recommend appropriate action.

3. Quality Control & Asset Utilization

• Ensure quality checks during inward, post-refurbishment, and before products are released for rental.
• Maintain records of product condition changes, repair history, and refurbishment costs.
• Reduce repeat repairs, avoidable damage, and unnecessary refurbishment expenses.
• Improve asset utilization by reducing the time products remain unavailable between rentals.
• Ensure correct product-condition classification as per company SOPs.

4. Audit & Compliance

• Conduct regular physical inventory audits and barcode-level verification.
• Investigate audit variances and coordinate with stakeholders for closure.
• Maintain supporting records for stock movements, repair expenses, and vendor bills.
• -Ensure adherence to inventory control processes and operational SOPs.
• Prepare inventory ageing, audit, and discrepancy reports.

5. Vendor & Cost Management

• Coordinate with refurbishment and repair vendors to ensure timely service and quality.
• Verify vendor quotations, job completion details, and invoices against approved rates.
• Track refurbishment costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor vendor performance against turnaround time, quality, and commercial commitments.

6. MIS & Cross-functional Coordination

• Prepare daily and weekly reports covering inventory health, refurbishment ageing, pending repairs, and product readiness.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, Finance, Customer Experience, and City Operations teams.
• Follow up on pending actions and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
• Support process automation and improvements in Odoo ERP.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Inventory accuracy and timely audit-variance closure.
• Accuracy and timeliness of Odoo inventory updates.
• Refurbishment turnaround time and pending-job ageing.
• Refurbishment cost per product and cost optimization.
• Percentage of products restored to rental-ready condition.
• Reduction in repeat repairs and avoidable damage.
• Vendor SLA adherence and service quality.
• Timely submission of MIS and closure of operational discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, refurbishment, repair services, or reverse logistics.
• Basic understanding of barcode-level inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel; Odoo ERP experience will be an advantage.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills for managing vendors and operational activities.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and travel across locations as required.

Reporting Structure: The candidate will report to the Inventory Manager and support inventory and refurbishment operations across PAN India locations, as per business requirements.
