About this role
- Source and develop suppliers for electronic components including PCBs, ICs, microcontrollers, semiconductors, and electronic assemblies.
- Conduct RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and supplier negotiations.
- Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, pricing agreements, and strategic partnerships.
- Drive BOM cost reduction and target costing initiatives.
- Monitor semiconductor market trends, lead times, and pricing fluctuations.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and component obsolescence.
- Collaborate with R&D, Hardware, Quality, and Product teams during New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, CE, FCC, and ISO requirements.
- Track supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
