Senior Engineer - Algorithm Function Designer

Job Summary

Development and validation of control logic for powertrain systems and components based on model based approach

Responsibilities

• Develop control logic based on Renault System Engineering approach. Design control algorithm based on automotive standards (MAAB, ISO26262).
• Review the software control model. Implement software components, integrate, and check full functionality meeting the customer requirements.
• Responsible for Model In Loop simulation, Experimental data analysis and control model verification by Hardware In Loop testing, Rapid Prototyping.
• Propose task improvement ideas and improve productivity and quality by updating MATLAB script and Excel Macro tools.
• Train new GET/PGET on control logic development. Internally review their deliveries. Propose modification in development process.

Relevant experience

• 3-7 years of experience in function development of Powertrain control system
• Expertise in Simulink, Stateflow, MATLAB scripting, Verification and Validation, MXAM, Embedded C.
• Validating control algorithm by creating real time scenarios
• Automotive engine (gasoline/diesel) / powertrain / EV/HEV / mechatronics knowledge is a must
