In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence models, interactive dashboards, and reports across major enterprise visualization platforms to deliver actionable insights, helping to shape the future of Global Payments.

What youll own

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in BI development, software engineering, or information systems.
• 5-7 years of experience in BI development using leading visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI).
• Strong working experience with Looker, including developing and optimizing LookML models, looks, and custom dashboards.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of SQL for querying data, creating views, tables, and functions, and writing validation/analytical scripts.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms is required, with preferred working experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its storage solutions (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Datastore).
• Sound understanding of Data Warehousing (DW) concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytical frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with software engineering and collaboration tools like GitHub, Rally, Jira, Confluence, and VSTS.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to manage highly complex information, assess problems, and develop effective technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to both business and tech teams.
• A Technical degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (additional professional experience in lieu of a degree will be considered).
• The following are a huge plus:
• Advanced scripting skills in Python.
• Expertise in other enterprise BI tools such as MicroStrategy (MSTR).
• A good understanding of the Payments or FinTech domain.
• Basic understanding or exposure to AI/ML concepts.

What youll bring

• Design, develop, and maintain LookML models, interactive dashboards, and reports across BI platforms to deliver actionable commercial insights and scalable analytical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand complex product requirements and translate them into effective, intuitive data visualizations.
• Own the quality of your deliverables by executing unit test cases, validating datasets, troubleshooting issues, and reporting defects.
• Support regression testing for business intelligence and analytics applications deployed on Cloud environments.
• Work closely with application development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to automate pipelines and optimize reporting performance.
• Deliver high-quality software by working in a dynamic, collaborative, and team-focused Agile/Scrum environment.
• Introduce and enhance non-functional capabilities such as dashboard security, responsive design, and query performance tuning.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively under aggressive timelines and support regular software releases.
