About the role

Emerge Legal is hiring a Senior Associate for its litigation practice in Delhi - NCR. We are looking for an advocate with hands-on experience in strategising litigation matters, drafting plaints and applications, and arguing before judicial authorities across NCR.

What you will do

• Strategise litigation matters from the first brief through to final hearing.
• Draft plaints, applications, replies, and representations.
• Appear and argue before courts, tribunals, and other judicial authorities across NCR.
• Manage case files and deadlines, and keep clients and the partner updated on progress.
• Research case law and prepare arguments and briefing notes.
• Coordinate with clients, counsel, and court staff on matter progress.

What we are looking for

• LLB degree and enrolment with a Bar Council.
• 5+ years of core litigation experience.
• Working knowledge of court procedure and regular court appearance experience.
• Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
• Ownership of deadlines and accuracy in filings.
