About this role
Job Description :
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with 8-10 years of experience in video communications engineering or consulting, including laboratory testing, proof-of-concept implementations, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer. Strong understanding of video protocols and codecs (H.264, H.265, SIP, WebRTC), enterprise video conferencing platform design and implementation, Webex Meetings, Zoom, Microsoft Teams meetings/webinars/townhalls, Kaltura CDN, digital signage, Cloud Video Interop (CVI), Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), broadcasting, live streaming, IPTV, content delivery networks, IP networking, video network design, Python or PowerShell scripting, video quality metrics, testing methodologies, network security, and video security implementations. Responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, designing and testing video solutions in laboratory environments, validating deployments, developing implementation guides, procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and handover documentation, supporting production migrations and upgrades, conducting knowledge transfer sessions, developing automation tools, performing capacity planning and load testing, maintaining laboratory infrastructure, and coordinating with vendors. Excellent technical writing, consultation, requirements gathering, project coordination, and operational handover skills are required. Preferred qualifications include Cisco Video, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams certifications, enterprise or financial services experience, broadcasting and live streaming knowledge, technical documentation tools, change management, migration planning, ITIL processes, laboratory management, video testing environments, and video analytics and reporting platformsSourced from foundit
