Senior Associate External Audit UAE

Summary:

As a Senior Associate you will be playing a key role supporting senior colleagues in managing a small portfolio and organizing & reviewing work. You will manage a small team of Associates and be a key client contact.

Location: Bangalore, Kolkata, India.

Responsibilities:

• Leading on audit reviews, agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team (including other specialists) and monitoring budgets
• Leading an exciting small portfolio of diverse clients and provide them with an exceptional level of clarity and insight on complicated issues
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, recognizing the value of exceptional client service and ensuring you always understand and manage the client's expectations effectively
• Assisting your senior colleagues when generating new business, from target stage to proposal and beyond
• Responsible for managing, motivating, and coaching team members, providing regular feedback, and supporting their development

Qualifications/Skills/Experiencce:

• At least three years of post-qualification External Audit experience with an international professional service firm
• Professionally qualified (CA, CPA, ACCA)
• Experience working on complex audits and delegating workloads accordingly
• Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft packages
• Strong technical accounting skills with a sound knowledge of IFRS
• Experience auditing groups and listed entities
• Ability to supervise staff and lead projects
• Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements, even in a virtual environment
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Strong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites
