    About this role

As a Senior Apparel Designer (Apparel + CMFG Strategy) at the India Product Creation Centre (IP2C), you will drive creative and visual direction across sports apparel collections (Wellness, Outdoor, Performance, and Active Lifestyle), turning local Indian insights and global trends into high-performing, sustainable products.

    • Master Fit, Ergonomics & Design: Design aesthetic, functional sports apparel across Men's, Women's, and Kids categories with an emphasis on ergonomic movement, silhouette balance, and fit precision.
    • CMFG & Aesthetic Vision: Define seasonal color palettes, fabric and trim selections, surface finishes, branding charters, and graphic applications to give each collection a distinct identity.
    • Trend & Insight Translation: Identify emerging Indian cultural trends, local sports behaviors, and global activewear movements to shape product master plans and range architectures.
    • Digital Design & 3D Prototyping: Accelerate development by creating digital twins, 2D technical sketches, and 3D visual prototypes using modern design tools.
    • Concept-to-Sample Execution: Partner closely with pattern makers, product engineers, and local manufacturing suppliers to preserve design integrity from initial brief to final production.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work autonomously within a matrix setup alongside Global & Local Product Managers, garment technologists, and field testers.

Sport is your passion, and design is your craft. You are an autonomous, hands-on, and curious designer who combines creative vision with deep technical understanding.

    • Experience: 4 to 5+ years of apparel design experience within a sports, outdoor, or performance activewear brand, with a proven track record of managing collections from concept to delivery.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree or 5-year post-secondary degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Apparel Design.
    • Technical & Pattern Mastery: Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, technical seams, bonding/sealing processes, and tech pack creation across diverse sizing.
    • Mindset & Ownership: Self-driven and decisive project owner capable of managing multi-stakeholder design workflows with minimal supervision.
    • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communicator able to articulate design and CMFG decisions clearly to engineers, category leaders, and factory partners.
