Role Description The Senior Accounts Executive will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing ledgers, supervising entries, and ensuring timely recording of financial transactions. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, GST and other statutory compliances, and coordination with auditors for periodic reviews and reporting. The role also involves preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, supporting cost control initiatives, and generating regular MIS reports for management. The Senior Accounts Executive will collaborate closely with operations and management teams to ensure accurate financial data and smooth back-office processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience with statutory compliance and taxation, such as GST, TDS, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel and spreadsheet skills for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, management, and external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or FMCG sector.
