Senior Accounts Executive - Goa ( 4.8-6 LPA)

Job Description

We need a Senior Accountant to look after the accounts for all our live building projects. You will check entries, match site bills, handle GST and TDS, and guide our Junior Accountant.

This job is office-based in Pilerne, Goa.

• Handle project accounts. Make sure every payment and expense is booked to the right project. Each week, check site bills against materials received, work done, the BOQ and actual costs. Flag any work that was not in the budget.
• Vendor payments and Cash flow Process vendor and contractor payments and enter invoices. Meet weekly with project managers and Procurement on cash flow. Prepare the monthly MIS with the site teams.
• Experience with GST and TDS. Making sure GST is charged only on invoices, not on advances, and track input tax credit for each project. Check the GST and TDS returns the Junior Accountant prepares. Prepare yearly accounts with the Auditor and help with ROC filing and the July–August audit.
• Manage the Department. You will be expected to lead and manage the accounts department independently. This means handling all departmental responsibilities and guiding Junior Accountants day to day.
