SDET

We're looking for a hands-on SDET to build and scale our test automation framework, improve coverage across critical lending workflows, and strengthen release quality. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and TPMs in a fast-paced environment. This is a build-from-scratch mindset role focused on automation engineering, not just test execution.

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance reusable test automation frameworks and utilities.
• Automate functional, API, UI, and end-to-end tests for critical lending workflows and BankConnect.
• Perform mobile, web, and SDK testing to validate functionality, integration, compatibility, and reliability across mobile platforms and client applications.
• Own test strategy, regression coverage, and release-quality assessment for your product pod.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and investigate failures.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify risks early and prevent production defects.
• Use AI-assisted tools and explore agentic testing to improve automation efficiency.
• Conduct performance and load testing of services and SDKs when required, and help establish performance SLAs.

Requirements:

• B. E. /B. Tech in any engineering discipline.
• 2 - 3 years of hands-on SDET or test automation experience.
• Experience building or extending automation frameworks, not just maintaining existing tests.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
• Understanding of mobile application, web, SDK, and API testing.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD fundamentals.
• A builder mindset, ownership, and the ability to deliver independently.

Hands-on experience with at least two of the following:

• Test Automation Frameworks: TestNG, pytest, or equivalent frameworks.
• Web UI Automation: Selenium or Playwright.
• Mobile UI Automation: Appium or Detox.
• API Automation: RestAssured or native API testing libraries.

Good to Have:

• Fintech, lending or multi-tenant SaaS experience.
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Performance testing using K6 or Locust.
• Experience with AI coding assistants or AI-driven testing.
• Utilisation of AI tools to accelerate test automation through agentic workflows.
