We are looking for a skilled SDET Engineer with strong experience in test automation using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing automation frameworks, testing web applications and APIs, and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and enhance scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Perform UI, functional, regression, and API testing for web applications.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Identify, report, track, and debug defects while collaborating with developers and product teams.
• Use AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar solutions to assist with test case generation, automation script development, test-data creation, and failure analysis.
• Explore AI-driven testing approaches to improve test coverage, reduce repetitive efforts, and enhance overall test quality.
• Participate in code reviews, test planning, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation.
• Experience in UI automation, API testing, and test framework development.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and browser automation.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of debugging, defect tracking, and software testing methodologies.
• Practical exposure to AI tools or AI-assisted testing workflows is preferred.
