Scheme Operations Lead - Government Loans & Grants

Kaapi Money (Profitse Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) is a Bengaluru fintech platform that helps India's small business owners discover and access government schemes, loans and grants. We are hiring a founding Scheme Operations Lead to file and track government-backed loan applications (Mudra, CGTMSE, PMEGP and similar) for small business owners.

Role & responsibilities:

- File loan applications for schemes like Mudra, CGTMSE, PMEGP and Stand-Up India.

- Check eligibility and review customer documents before applying.

- Prepare document packs, including project reports and KYC.

- Follow up with banks from submission to sanction.

- In the first months, personally handle applications for our early customers; your experience will then shape how we turn this process into a product, so thousands of owners can apply with less paperwork and fewer rejections.

- Work closely with the founders, customer engagement team and product.

Preferred candidate profile:

- 2+ years in MSME or small-business lending, either as a banker (branch manager, credit officer, relationship manager in a PSU, private or small finance bank) or as a CA, loan consultant or agent (DSA) who has filed government loan applications for clients.

- Hands-on experience applying for government-backed loans such as Mudra, CGTMSE, PMEGP, Stand-Up India and other government schemes.

- Clear understanding of how banks assess small borrowers: credit scores, repayment history, cash flows and collateral-free lending rules.

- Nice to have: network of branch managers and lending contacts across states; experience with CA firms, DSAs or NBFCs on MSME loans; familiarity with state-level schemes and subsidy claims.

- Ex-bankers, CAs, independent loan consultants and agents are welcome to apply.
