About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Solution Architect / Lead Consultant to join a large-scale global transformation program. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SAP TM, strong solution design capabilities, and experience driving transportation management processes across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM solution design, architecture, and implementation activities.
• Conduct business workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.
• Configure and implement SAP TM functionalities across transportation planning and execution.
• Design and support Freight Unit, Freight Order, and Freight Booking processes.
• Configure and manage Freight Settlement, Charge Management, and Cost Distribution processes.
• Drive Carrier Selection, Tendering, Transportation Planning, and Optimization processes.
• Work on domestic and international transportation scenarios across road, ocean, and multimodal logistics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, integration teams, and technical teams.
• Support SIT, UAT, Cutover, Hypercare, and Production Support activities.
• Provide leadership for global rollouts, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.

• Strong experience in SAP TM (Transportation Management).
• Hands-on experience in:
• Freight Unit (FU)
• Freight Order (FO)
• Freight Booking
• Freight Settlement
• Charge Management
• Carrier Selection
• Tendering
• Transportation Planning
• Transportation Cockpit
• Transportation Execution
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA TM landscape.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Experience with end-to-end implementation and rollout projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EWM-TM integration.
• Experience with road, ocean, parcel, and multimodal transportation scenarios.
• Exposure to SAP Logistics, EWM, SD, LE, MM, or Supply Chain solutions.
• SAP TM certification preferred.
• Architecture or solution design experience preferred.

Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of overall SAP experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant SAP TM experience.
• Experience as Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, Principal Consultant, or Architect.
• Ability to work independently in a global delivery environment.
