SAP SD Functional Consultant - S/4HANA

Job Summary:

GyanSys is seeking a skilled SAP SD Functional Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution implementations, support, and enhancements. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales order management, pricing, delivery, shipping, billing, and credit management.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring SAP SD solutions, supporting implementation activities, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD functional solutions aligned with business processes.

- Configure, implement, and support SAP SD functionalities within SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, covering sales order creation, delivery processing, shipping, billing, and invoicing.

- Configure and maintain pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, and condition techniques.

- Work on credit management, returns processing, rebate management, and output management.

- Support intercompany sales, third-party sales, and Stock Transport Order (STO) processes.

- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with ABAP and technical teams.

- Perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Handle production support activities, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve process-related issues, and recommend improvements.

- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.

- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user manuals, and conduct end-user training sessions.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA SD configuration, implementation, and support.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.

- Expertise in the following SAP SD areas: Sales Order Management, Pricing Procedures and Condition Techniques, Output Management, Delivery Processing and Shipping, Billing and Invoicing, Credit Management, Returns and Rebate Processing, Intercompany Sales, Third-Party Sales and STO Processes.

- Experience working with IDocs, EDI, and SAP SD integrations.

- Understanding of integration with SAP MM, FI, WM/EWM, and PP modules.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and issue-resolution skills.

- Ability to prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.

Good to Have:

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or rollout projects.

- Knowledge of Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP).

- Experience with SAP Variant Configuration (VC).

- Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

- SAP SD certification.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
