Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced SAP Revenue & Write-Off Specialists with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly FI-AR and/or FI-CA. The role will focus on supporting revenue, accounts receivable, billing reconciliation, write-off processes and related financial accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of manual and mass write-offs, G/L reconciliation, revenue recognition, collections, dispute management, bad-debt provisioning and related SAP configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and revenue-related processes in SAP S/4HANA.

- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, receivable issues and reconciliation differences.

- Execute and support manual and mass write-offs, including complete and partial write-offs.

- Configure and maintain write-off reason codes, check rules, thresholds and related controls.

- Support G/L account determination, financial postings and reconciliation associated with AR and write-off transactions.

- Handle revenue recognition, accrual and deferral processes.

- Support Dispute Management, Collections Management and debt-resolution activities.

- Manage processes related to bad-debt provisioning, value adjustments and doubtful receivables.

- Support tax corrections and accounting adjustments arising from write-offs.

- Analyze complex production issues, identify root causes and provide appropriate functional solutions.

- Work closely with Billing, Finance, Accounting and other functional/technical teams to ensure accurate end-to-end financial processing.

- Ensure revenue-related processes are aligned with relevant IFRS 15 / ASC 606 principles.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of SAP Finance experience, with strong exposure to SAP FI-AR and/or SAP FI-CA.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

- In-depth understanding of Accounts Receivable and billing-related processes.

- Proven experience with manual, mass, full and partial write-offs.

- Strong knowledge of G/L account determination and reconciliation.

- Experience with revenue recognition, accruals and deferrals.

- Good understanding of Collections, Dispute Management and debt-resolution processes.

- Experience with bad-debt provisioning and value adjustments.

- Knowledge of tax implications/corrections related to write-offs.

- Hands-on understanding of write-off configuration, including reason codes and check rules.

- Understanding of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex finance and billing issues.

- Good communication skills and ability to work directly with Finance and business stakeholders.

Good to Have:

- Experience with SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting).

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout or production support engagements.

- Understanding of end-to-end integration between Billing, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting and General Ledger.
