PPDS Senior Consultant (SAP S/4HANA PP/DS)

Location: India

Duration: 6-month contract

Working mode: Remote

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/DS consultant to support a manufacturing planning programme.

Key responsibilities

• Configure embedded PP/DS master data, heuristics, optimization profiles and the Detailed Scheduling planning board
• Implement finite and infinite capacity scheduling, order sequencing, block planning and campaign planning
• Maintain products, locations, resources, production versions, PDS and time streams
• Manage integration between PP/DS, core PP/MRP, CIF and external MES
• Run Fit-Gap analyses, write WRICEF functional specs, and support UAT, cutover and go-live
• Monitor alerts, resolve planning and scheduling issues, and train end users

Must have

• Strong hands-on experience with PP/DS and PP Fiori apps
• Good understanding of CDS views and their integration with third-party planning tools such as Kinaxis
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents by relating functional specs to CDS views and the custom tables behind them
• Knowledge of PP/QM master data (BoM, routings, batches, stocks, inspection lots) as used in Kinaxis planning
• Exposure to Control-M batch jobs for SAP objects
