Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM / P2P Expert Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Materials Management, Procure-to-Pay processes, configuration, master data, integrations, and production support.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex SAP MM configurations, troubleshooting business-critical issues, supporting procurement and inventory operations, and aligning SAP processes with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex SAP MM configurations, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions.
• Configure and support Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification processes.
• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including PR → PO → GR → IR → Payment.
• Manage and maintain Material Master, Vendor Master, and Purchasing Info Records.
• Support 3-way matching, exception handling, and blocked invoice resolution.
• Configure and troubleshoot Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order approval workflows.
• Support integration between SAP MM and Financial Accounting (FI).
• Work with Accounts Payable processes and vendor payments.
• Support and troubleshoot IDoc/EDI inbound and outbound interfaces.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using SQVI, query creation, and standard SAP reports.
• Support authorization concepts, including roles, profiles, and access controls.
• Support SOX/GRC, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Manage incidents and service requests using ticketing and incident management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Work closely with SAP teams, developers, business users, and end-users to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP MM.
• Expertise in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Configuration experience across Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Material Master, Vendor Master, and Purchasing Info Records.
• Understanding of SAP MM-FI integration.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Vendor Payment processes.
• Experience with IDoc/EDI interfaces.
• Experience with PR/PO approval workflows.
• Understanding of ABAP.
• Experience with SQVI, SAP queries, and standard SAP reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, roles, profiles, and access controls.
• Exposure to SOX/GRC, compliance, and audit support.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Exposure to modern SAP tools and solutions such as SAP Fiori and SAP Ariba.
• Experience supporting SAP MM in enterprise environments.
• Experience handling production support, system changes, testing, and incident management.
• Experience working with cross-functional SAP and business teams.
