Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional Consultant to participate in a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) Greenfield Implementation for a Government Power Distribution Utility (DISCOM).

The consultant will be responsible for business process consulting, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, and deployment of SAP MM processes, ensuring alignment with utility industry best practices and government procurement regulations. The role requires extensive experience in procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, material valuation, and integration with other SAP modules.

The consultant will work onsite at the customer location in Patna and collaborate with business users, project stakeholders, and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Consulting

• Conduct business process workshops and requirement gathering sessions with DISCOM stakeholders.
• Analyze existing procurement and inventory management processes.
• Map business requirements to SAP S/4HANA MM best practices.
• Prepare Business Blueprint, Functional Design Documents (FDD), and process flow diagrams.
• Recommend process improvements leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP MM consulting experience.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Minimum 1 SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition implementation preferred.
• Experience working with Government, PSU, Utilities, Power Sector, or DISCOM organizations preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale procurement and inventory processes.
