Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSenior SAP IBP Consultantwith 10-12 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning and strong hands-on expertise inSAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

The successful candidate will be responsible for thedesign, configuration, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and supportof SAP IBP solutions across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP/Response processes.

The role requires strong functional expertise, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, integration teams, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP IBP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support projects.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective SAP IBP solutions.

• Design and configure SAP IBP solutions acrossDemand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP, and Response & Supply.

• Configure and maintain:

  • Planning Areas and Planning Levels

  • Attributes and Master Data

  • Key Figures

  • Time Profiles

  • Versions

  • Planning Views

  • Planning Operators

  • Application Jobs

  • Alerts and Analytics

• Configure and optimizestatistical forecasting, demand sensing, consensus demand planning, and forecast models.

• Work with business stakeholders to defineS&OP processes, planning cycles, scenarios, KPIs, and business requirements.

• Configure Supply Planning and Response using appropriateheuristics, optimizer, and supply-demand balancing capabilities.

• Support Inventory Planning, includingtarget inventory, safety stock, and service-level-based planning.

• Design and support integration between SAP IBP andSAP ECC/SAP S/4HANAusingSAP Cloud Integration, CPI-DS, SDI, or other relevant integration technologies.

• Manage integration of master and transactional data, including:

  • Products

  • Locations

  • Customers

  • Resources

  • BOMs

  • Stocks

  • Sales Orders

  • Forecasts

  • Supply Orders

• Analyze integration errors, troubleshoot data inconsistencies, and resolve planning and integration issues.

• Develop and maintaindashboards, analytics, KPIs, and planning reports.

• Lead functional testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.

• Provide functional and technical guidance to junior consultants and review solution designs.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, integration teams, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Preparefunctional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios, process documentation, and user guides.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize planning models, configurations, and business processes.

• Participate in workshops, solution demonstrations, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

• Provide production support and troubleshoot critical SAP IBP planning and integration issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-12 years of experiencein SAP Supply Chain Planning with strong hands-on SAP IBP experience.

• Strong expertise in one or more of the following SAP IBP areas:

  • IBP for Demand

  • IBP for Supply

  • IBP for Inventory

  • IBP for S&OP

  • IBP for Response & Supply

• Strong knowledge ofSAP IBP Planning Areas, Planning Levels, Key Figures, Attributes, Time Profiles, Versions, Planning Operators, and Planning Views.

• Strong understanding ofDemand Planning and statistical forecasting techniques.

• Experience withSupply Planning, heuristics, optimizer, and supply-demand balancing.

• Good understanding ofS&OP processes and end-to-end supply chain planning.

• Hands-on experience with SAP IBP integration withSAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience withCPI-DS, SAP Cloud Integration, SDI, or equivalent IBP integration technologies.

• Strong understanding of SAP master data and transactional data relevant to supply chain planning.

• Experience in SAP IBP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to independently lead workshops, solution discussions, and implementation activities.

Good to Have

• SAP IBP certification.

• Experience withSAP S/4HANA Supply Chain.

• Knowledge ofSAP APO or other advanced planning solutions.

• Experience withSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)and IBP analytics.

• Experience working onglobal SAP IBP rollouts.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-endS&OP/IBP business processes.

• Experience leading a team of SAP IBP consultants.

• Experience working in large-scale, global SAP transformation programs.
