SAP Hybris Developer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 5–8 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris) Developer to build, customize, and enhance enterprise e-commerce solutions, covering backend services, core commerce flows, API integrations, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) solutions, custom extensions, and backend business logic.
• Enhance commerce flows across catalogs, cart, checkout, orders, pricing, and payments.
• Build OCC / REST APIs and integrate internal and third-party systems.
• Configure items.xml data models, FlexibleSearch, Impex, CronJobs, HAC, and Backoffice.
• Develop maintainable code with Java / J2EE and Spring / Spring Boot; review, test, and fix code.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and improve application stability and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, business analysts, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery.
• Support technical enhancements, deployments, and platform upgrades.

Required Technical Skills

• 5–8 years of relevant development experience with strong hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java/J2EE, Spring, and backend development.
• SAP Commerce architecture, custom extensions, items.xml, HAC, and Backoffice.
• Hands-on skills in Impex, FlexibleSearch, CronJobs, and data handling.
• Experience with OCC / REST APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of cart, checkout, order lifecycle, and catalog management.
• Problem-solving skills in debugging, log analysis, SQL, and Git workflows.

Good to Have

• Apache Solr, PIM, WCMS, and catalog management.
• SAP Integration Suite (SCPI), SOAP APIs, ETL, or event-driven integrations.
• Groovy, Jenkins / Azure DevOps CI/CD, AWS, or Hybris upgrades.
• Production monitoring using Dynatrace or Datadog.
