Job Summary

Lead Administrator responsible for end to end administration of SAP S4HANA landscapes SAP BTP environments SAP HANA databases and NetWeaver ABAP or JAVA systems within a hybrid work model. Role involves ensuring high system availability secure operations and efficient performance for industrial manufacturing and automotive sector clients while collaborating with cross functional teams using English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP S4HANA system landscapes by planning installation configuration and ongoing maintenance to ensure stable and efficient operations for business critical processes.
• Monitor SAP BTP services by tuning performance managing subaccounts and coordinating lifecycle operations to support scalable cloud native extensions and integrations.
• Administer SAP HANA databases by handling tenant management backup and recovery strategies and performance optimization to protect data integrity and minimize downtime.
• Configure and maintain SAP NetWeaver ABAP or JAVA application servers by managing instances transports and background jobs to support reliable application delivery.
• Execute SAP Basis administration tasks by managing client copies support packages system copies kernel updates and health checks to keep landscapes secure and compliant.
• Coordinate system refreshes and environment alignments by collaborating with functional and development teams to maintain consistency across development quality and production systems.
• Implement user and role administration by managing authorizations and security concepts to protect critical business data and ensure appropriate access controls.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues by analyzing logs traces and performance metrics to resolve incidents within agreed service levels and prevent recurring problems.
• Plan and support upgrade and migration activities by preparing detailed runbooks rehearsing cutover steps and validating post activity checks to ensure smooth transitions.
• Optimize system performance by fine tuning parameters managing workload distribution and analyzing capacity trends to improve response times and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with industrial manufacturing and automotive customer teams by understanding process requirements and translating them into robust technical configurations and operational practices.
• Document standard operating procedures configuration baselines and troubleshooting guides to ensure consistent operations and effective knowledge sharing within the administration team.
• Communicate clearly in English by providing status updates incident reports and technical explanations to stakeholders in a concise and understandable manner within the hybrid work model.
  
  

Qualifications

• Describe professional experience of seven to nine years in SAP S4HANA administration handling complex multi system landscapes in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate practical expertise in SAP BTP administration including subaccount management service configuration and connectivity setup for cloud solutions.
• Show deep knowledge of SAP HANA database administration including backup strategies high availability setups and performance troubleshooting for large datasets.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in SAP NetWeaver ABAP or JAVA administration covering instance management transport control and job scheduling activities.
• Highlight comprehensive SAP Basis skills such as system copies kernel maintenance support package implementation and technical monitoring using standard tools.
• Prefer exposure to industrial manufacturing or automotive industry processes to better align system configurations and operations with domain specific needs.
• Indicate ability to work effectively in a hybrid model by managing tasks independently coordinating virtually with teams and maintaining high standards of delivery.
• Confirm proficiency in English reading writing and speaking to support collaboration with global stakeholders and clear documentation of technical activities.
