Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP S/4HANA technical solutions to support a Greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) for a Government DISCOM Utility.

The consultant will be responsible for technical design, development, enhancements, integrations, reports, forms, workflows, data conversion programs, APIs, and custom developments in SAP S/4HANA. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, Basis teams, integration specialists, business users, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Experience in SAP Utilities, Government projects, cloud-hosted SAP landscapes, and S/4HANA development standards will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Development

• Develop and support SAP ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design documents.
• Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and extensions.
• Ensure adherence to SAP S/4HANA development standards and coding guidelines.
• Perform technical impact assessments and effort estimations.
• Participate in design reviews and code quality reviews.

Educational Qualifications

Mandatory

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.

Preferred

• MCA, M.Tech, MSc (IT), or equivalent qualification.

Experience Requirements

Mandatory

• Minimum 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
• Strong experience in ABAP Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, and Conversions.
• Experience in technical design and development lifecycle.

Preferred

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Experience in Greenfield SAP implementations.
• Experience in SAP Fiori, CDS Views, and OData Services.
• Experience in Government, PSU, Utilities, or Infrastructure sector projects.
