SAP ABAP Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP development, customization, enhancements, integrations, and production support. The successful candidate will work closely with SAP functional consultants and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across multiple SAP modules. Location: Remote - India; Employment Type: Full-Time Contract; Duration: 6 Months+; Start: Immediate / ASAP; Work Schedule: Must be available to support the US client up to 2:00 PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and custom applications.
• Develop technical solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, and workflows.
• Develop and support SAP integration solutions using: IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE, Web Services, OData, APIs
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams across modules including EWM, MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, and WM.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
• Ensure development follows SAP technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong programming experience in SAP ABAP.
• Strong experience with ABAP development, enhancements, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with IDocs, RFC, BAPI, ALE, Web Services, OData, and APIs.
• Experience working with SAP integration and interface development.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes and cross-functional integration.
• Experience working with one or more of EWM, MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, QM, or WM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams.
