Sap Abap Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Work on CDS Views, Annotations, AMDP, HANA Views, and modern ABAP 7.50+ syntax.
• Develop and consume OData services using SAP Gateway 2.0.
• Implement BAPI, RFCs, Web Services, and REST APIs for system integrations.
• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms, AIF, ALE IDocs, and file interfaces.
• Create and maintain XSODATA and HDBDD files.
• Participate in SAP implementation projects and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver SAP solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP 7.50+ syntax, CDS Views, Annotations, AMDP, and HANA Views.
• Experience with OData, SAP Gateway 2.0, BAPI, RFC, Web Services, and REST APIs.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Adobe Forms.
• Experience with AIF, ALE IDocs, and file interfaces.
• Basic understanding of Fiori/OData architecture.
• Functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, or FICO modules.
• Experience in SAP implementation projects.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
