Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Kashipur. The Salesperson is responsible for promoting and selling Tata Capital's financial products to retail and small business customers, including loans, credit cards, and related services. Daily activities include engaging with walk-in customers, generating leads, conducting product presentations, explaining terms and conditions, and assisting customers with applications and documentation. The role involves meeting sales targets, maintaining relationships with existing customers, coordinating with branch and back-office teams to ensure smooth processing, and following compliance and risk guidelines. The Salesperson is expected to stay updated on product features, market trends, and competitor offerings to provide informed guidance to customers.
Qualifications

• Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Customer relationship management and service skills, including the ability to build trust and handle queries and concerns effectively.
• Basic financial product knowledge and numerical aptitude to explain loans, interest rates, repayment terms, and other key product features clearly.
• Effective communication skills in English and local languages, with clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
• Ability to work on-site, manage time well, and stay organized while handling multiple customer interactions and applications.
• Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and digital applications for lead tracking, documentation, and reporting.
• Prior experience in financial services, banking, or consumer sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; relevant certifications in sales or finance are an advantage.
