The company focuses on providing customers with quality eyewear products and personalized optical services. As a neighborhood optician, New Hubli Opticians serves a diverse customer base seeking prescription glasses, sunglasses, and related accessories. Team members work closely with customers to support clear vision, comfort, and style in a welcoming retail environment.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Belgaum. The Salesperson will greet customers, understand their eyewear needs, and guide them in selecting frames, lenses, and optical products. Daily tasks include explaining product features and pricing, answering customer questions, managing basic billing and cash handling, and maintaining product displays and store cleanliness. The role also involves coordinating with optometrists or optical technicians, tracking inventory, and supporting promotional activities within the store. The Salesperson is expected to provide courteous, professional service and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Sales and retail skills, including product presentation, upselling, and basic knowledge of point-of-sale operations.
• Attention to detail and basic numerical skills for handling bills, cash, and simple records.
• Willingness to learn about optical products, frame styles, lens types, and vision needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
• Prior retail or optical shop experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic education and proficiency in local languages and English sufficient for customer interaction.
