Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Bengaluru. The Salesperson will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their loan and mortgage needs, explain suitable products, and guide them through the borrowing process. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, following up on inquiries, conducting client meetings, and building long-term relationships to drive loan conversions. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and partner financial institutions, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining transparent communication throughout the loan application and disbursal stages. The Salesperson will be expected to meet sales targets while upholding Urban Money's commitment to unbiased advice and high-quality service.
Qualifications

• Strong client relationship skills, including the ability to understand financial needs and communicate solutions clearly.
• Sales and negotiation capabilities, with experience in meeting targets and converting leads in financial services or related sectors.
• Basic understanding of loans, mortgages, interest rates, and banking products, with the ability to learn and adapt to new offerings.
• Sound documentation and organizational skills to manage multiple client cases and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle client-facing responsibilities professionally.
• Prior experience in banking, NBFCs, housing finance, or loan advisory services is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is beneficial; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
