Salesforce Devops Engineer

Owns Salesforce CI/CD engineering, Gearset pipelines, sandbox refresh, masking, and controlled deployments.

Required technical skills

GEARSET DELIVERY

• Hands-on Gearset metadata comparisons, CI/CD pipelines, Git integration and deployment approvals
• Apex test execution, static analysis, release validation, rollback and audit evidence

AUTOMATED TESTING AND REGRESSION

• Experience with Salesforce automated testing tools and regression suites; configure CI/CD-triggered test runs, regression reporting, failure triage, and release quality gates (ACCELQ not specifically required)

ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT

• Sandbox refresh orchestration, post-refresh configuration, environment-specific settings and readiness checks
• Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python) and API-driven automation

MASKING AND REFRESH

• Gearset data masking and selective data deployment; relationship-aware Case/Account/Activity refresh
• Sensitive-field discovery, deterministic masking where required, steward-approved rule sets and verification

SECURITY AND CONTROLS

• Credential handling, least privilege, SOX release gates, deployment logs and change traceability.
