About this role
Job Title: Salesforce Developer (LWC, Apex & Cloud Solutions)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 7+ Years
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and scale mission-critical CRM solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
In this role, you will build modern user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC), implement scalable backend logic with Apex, orchestrate declarative automation via Salesforce Flow, and govern data flow with robust Trigger Frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- LWC & Frontend Engineering: Design and build modular, responsive Lightning Web Components (LWC) utilizing modern JavaScript (ES6+), Lightning Design System (SLDS), and component-to-component communication patterns (Lightning Message Service, pub/sub).
- Backend Architecture & Apex: Develop robust, bulkified server-side solutions using Apex (classes, batch apex, queueable, schedulable, platform events) adhering to strict governor limits.
- Modern Trigger Architecture: Implement and maintain clean, one-trigger-per-object trigger handler frameworks to avoid recursion and ensure deterministic execution order.
- Declarative Automation: Architect scalable Salesforce Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen, and Autolaunched Flows), making well-reasoned architectural trade-offs between "Clicks vs. Code."
- Cloud Implementations:
- Sales Cloud: Customise Lead-to-Opportunity lifecycles, pipeline tracking, territory management, and quoting.
- Service Cloud: Build and optimise Case Management, Omni-Channel routing, Entitlements/SLAs, Knowledge Base, and Lightning Service Console workflows.
- Integrations: Design and consume REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and Named Credentials to connect Salesforce with third-party ERPs and enterprise platforms.
- DevOps & Release Management: Follow source-driven development using Git, Salesforce DX (SFDX / CLI), scratch orgs, and CI/CD tools (Copado, Flosum, Gearset, or GitHub Actions).
- Testing & Quality: Author Apex unit tests using test data factories, maintaining >85% code coverage with meaningful assertions for bulk scenarios.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise-grade implementations.
- Core Technical Stack:
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and asynchronous processing.
- Deep expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and standard web development standards (HTML5, modern CSS, JavaScript).
- Extensive experience building advanced Flows and managing trigger orchestration.
- Working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud domain concepts and standard object schemas.
- Architecture & Security: Strong understanding of Salesforce sharing architecture, record-level security, field-level security, and defensive coding against SOQL injection and platform limits.
- Tooling: Familiarity with VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Git-based version control, and package-based or metadata deployment models.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- Certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI) (Required)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder
- Service Cloud / Sales Cloud Consultant (Nice to have)
