Job Description – Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) QA Engineer

1. Designation – Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) QA Engineer

2. Experience – 4+ Years (Minimum 2 Years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud Testing)

3. Employment Type – Full-Time

4. Work Timings – 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST (or as per business requirements)

5. Working Days – 5 Days a Week

6. Location – Hyderabad (Work From Office)

Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) QA Engineer with hands-on experience in testing enterprise eCommerce applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in functional testing, integration testing, API validation, and end-to-end testing within Salesforce Commerce Cloud environments.

You will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications.
• Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) Testing.
• Validate core eCommerce functionalities including:
• Product Catalog
• Search & Navigation
• Shopping Cart
• Checkout
• Pricing & Promotions
• Customer Accounts
• Order Management
• Test integrations with Salesforce CRM, Payment Gateways, Tax Services, Order Management Systems (OMS), ERP systems, and other third-party applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, document, and resolve application defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Create and maintain test documentation, defect reports, test execution reports, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
• Support release validation, production deployment, and post-release verification activities.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) testing experience.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes and customer journeys.

• Checkout
• Pricing & Promotions
• Customer Accounts
• Order Management
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager and Storefront Architecture.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Good understanding of REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Good SQL knowledge for backend data validation and verification.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on enterprise-scale eCommerce applications.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and automation best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
