Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce B2B Commerce Solution Architect with strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise B2B Commerce solutions on Salesforce.
The candidate should have deep expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce architecture, integrations, data models and customization , along with good exposure to Order Management / Salesforce OMS and end-to-end order lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions.
- Lead end-to-end B2B Commerce solution design and implementation.
- Design B2B buyer experiences covering:
- Product/catalog management
- Account-specific catalogs and pricing
- Search and product discovery
- Cart and checkout
- Promotions and pricing
- Account and buyer management
- Order placement and order history
- Define Salesforce architecture, data models, APIs and integration patterns.
- Architect integrations with ERP/SAP, OMS, PIM, payment gateways, inventory, middleware and other enterprise platforms .
- Work with technical teams on Apex, LWC, APIs and Salesforce extensibility .
- Review solution designs and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and production issues.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate commerce requirements into scalable solutions.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce .
- Proven experience architecting and implementing end-to-end B2B Commerce solutions .
- Strong Salesforce platform architecture knowledge.
- Experience with:
- B2B Commerce data model
- Catalogs and products
- Pricing
- Buyer/accounts management
- Cart and checkout
- Orders
- Apex / LWC
- Salesforce APIs and integrations
- Strong experience integrating Salesforce Commerce with enterprise systems such as ERP/SAP, OMS, PIM, inventory and payment platforms .
- Ability to independently own solution architecture and provide technical direction.
OMS Exposure
The candidate should have good exposure to OMS/order-management concepts , including:
- Order lifecycle and orchestration
- Inventory availability
- Order fulfillment
- Split/partial fulfillment
- Cancellations
- Returns and refunds
- Integration between B2B Commerce and OMS
- Exposure to Salesforce Order Management is highly desirable.
Note: Deep hands-on Salesforce OMS architecture is not mandatory for this role. The priority is a strong Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect who understands OMS concepts and B2B Commerce-to-OMS integration.
