S3D Administrator

Role & responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering / Computer Science from a recognized university. Work experience of more than 05 to 12 years in Hexagon Smart 3D and/or Aveva E3D administration for FEED and EPC projects of process plant

1. Check and review project requirements and create the 3D CAD set-up plan document

2. Set-up 3D CAD databases, including specification and catalogue DB, based on the 3D CAD set-up plan and maintain and troubleshoot them during FEED and EPC projects

3. Import/export data to/from 3D CAD databases

4. Prepare backup database and instruction documents for 3D CAD database handover to client

5. Execute data maintenance and validation work

6. Coordinate and clarify with discipline engineers for 3D CAD related issues

7. Coordinate and clarify with discipline engineers and operators for 3D CAD related issues

8. Advice and support for other 3D CAD Administrators working on same project.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Project creation including specification, catalogue and code list customization and user access setting

2. Database administration skill, such as Oracle and MSSQL and Dabacon database

3. Database replication setting, using GWC or Aveva Global technologies

4. Setup of drawing and report template

5. Troubleshooting and user support

6. Creation of 3D related documents, such as 3D Setup Plan, 3D Modelling Procedure, 3D Model Review Procedure and 3D Model and over Procedure

7. Programming skill, such as PML, .NET/VB, C#

8. End-User training of S3D/E3D operation Cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
