Role Description The Room Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa Bangalore in Bengaluru. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards, including making beds, replacing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. The role includes handling guest laundry as required, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring all safety and hygiene procedures are followed. Room Attendants interact courteously with guests, respond to service requests, and coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready in a timely manner. The position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to hotel policies, and support for overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping skills, including the ability to clean and maintain rooms and public areas to high standards.
• Experience with Laundry operations, including sorting, handling, and caring for linens and guest items.
• Clean Rooms skills, with a focus on hygiene, organization, and room presentation.
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of safety and sanitation procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
