About us

STRUCT360 is a structural engineering and BIM company in Ahmedabad. We do Structural, Metal Panel Modular and wood framing projects for clients in the US and Canada, mostly commercial: Educational, restaurants, fuel stations, convenience stores and retail.

We're a small team and we're adding one more modeler. You won't be one of fifty people on a project. Your work will be seen, and you'll deal directly with the engineers who review it.

The role

You'll build Revit structural models and drawing sets at LOD & BIM Standards for US and Canadian projects. Day to day that means:

• Modeling framing, walls, floors, roofs and connections to US and Canadian standards

• Producing sheets, sections and details that go out to clients

• Checking your own work before anyone else sees it

• Closing review comments quickly, and understanding the reason behind each one so it doesn't come back

• Keeping your to-do list and timesheet current every day

• Handling several projects at once and managing your own deadlines

We move fast. Most of our projects are Structural, and you'll pick it up on the job. We expect you to learn quickly and work things out on your own before you ask.

Who we're looking for

• 2 to 6 years of Revit experience on structural projects (Structural framing, steel, wood or concrete)

• Real experience working from structural markups

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/REVIT/BIM Standards - Integration of tools to REVIT

• A self-starter. You don't wait to be told what's next, you see it and do it

• A fast learner with a real learning attitude. New software, new codes and new project types don't scare you

• You ask why when a markup doesn't add up, and you ask it clearly

• Based in Ahmedabad and able to work from our office

Good to have: US or Canadian project experience, Structural, Metal Panel Modular (CFS) or wood framing exposure, Navisworks, Scan to BIM.

Working hours

Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

2nd and 4th Saturday: full working day

1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday: off

Sunday: always off (it will be always off)

Holiday Calendar - Locked from January

It's a fixed morning shift. You will not be asked to log in at night for US hours.

Overtime

When work goes past the standard hours, and it's approved beforehand, overtime is paid at 3Xyour basic hourly rate. Most firms we know of pay 1x or nothing at all.

Pay

We offer a hike od GOOD% on your current fixed monthly salary. Where you land in that range depends on how you do in the modeling test and interview. We'll ask for your latest payslip, so please apply with your real numbers.

The salary is flat and fixed. There's no variable pay or bonus component at the moment, and we'd rather tell you now.

What it's like to work here

• Separate roles for engineers and modelers. The engineers do the calculations and design, and you do the modeling

• Engineers give the reason with their comments, so you understand what you're fixing

• Attendance and timesheets go through our HRMS every day

Growth

We have defined levels. You move up on the quality of your work, how well you handle your projects and how you work with the team. Tenure and negotiation don't count for it. Reviews are held once a year in March, and revised pay starts on 1st April.

Terms

• 90-day probation, with reviews at 30, 60 and 90 days

• Notice period: 30 days in probation, 45 days after confirmation

• Leave: 12 casual, 6 sick, earned leave (1 day per 20 days worked), plus 11 to 13 public holidays

• Office-based role in Ahmedabad, no remote or hybrid option

This isn't the right fit if

• You want a night or US-overlap shift

• You want to model only what's marked up, without understanding the reason

• You need to be told every step

• Your Revit work has been architectural or interior only

• You want remote or hybrid work
