Retention Manager (Edtech Only)

Role Description The Retention Manager (Edtech Only) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role focuses on increasing learner, customer, and institutional retention across the company's edtech products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing user engagement and performance data, identifying patterns that lead to churn, and designing targeted retention initiatives such as communication campaigns, product improvements, and support programs. The Retention Manager will collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, customer success, and academic teams to implement strategies that improve learner satisfaction, course completion rates, and subscription renewals. The role also involves monitoring key retention metrics, preparing regular reports for leadership, coordinating feedback loops from users and partners, and ensuring that all interventions align with educational objectives and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in retention management, customer success, or learner success within the edtech or education sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, dashboards, and reports to identify trends and inform strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven ability to design and execute structured initiatives or campaigns aimed at improving engagement and retention.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), or other edtech platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in business, education, data analytics, or a related field; advanced qualifications in these areas are an advantage.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and adapting strategies based on measurable outcomes.
• Prior experience in Bengaluru or understanding of the local education and edtech ecosystem is beneficial.
