About the Role

SolarSquare's Experience Centres (ECs) are where homeowners come to see, touch and understand rooftop solar before they buy. We have opened 10 ECs, and the store design and core processes are in place. The next chapter is about growth: more walk-ins, better conversion, and SOPs that hold up across every store as we scale.

We are looking for a Retail Head to own this end to end. You will set the vision for the EC channel, design and run the experiments that grow walk-ins, own store operations and work with sales, marketing, brand, product and finance to make ECs a predictable growth engine for SolarSquare.

What You Will Own

1. Walk-in Strategy & Experiments (core focus)

- Work out where EC traffic should come from: performance marketing routed to ECs, local activations, architect and partner referrals, customer referrals, kiosks and new sources

- Design, run and measure pilots with clear hypotheses and success metrics, then scale the ones that work and stop the ones that don't

- Own the Walk-ins - Consultations - Orders funnel and drive conversion, not just footfall

2. EC Vision & Roadmap

- Define what the EC channel looks like in 2 - 3 years: formats, city mix and economics per store

- Build the business case and roadmap for the channel and present it to leadership

3. Cross-functional Partnerships

- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Brand, Product and Finance leaders to build and improve EC systems

- Fix the gaps that cost us deals after the EC visit, such as pricing, proposals, follow-ups and financing

4. Team & Capability

- Lead the two Programme Managers, and hire the EC Operations Lead as the network grows

- Build the hiring, training and performance-management engine for EC teams, including incentives and pitch and product training

5. Expansion

- Decide which cities and sites come next, using market and pincode-level data

- Lead new store launches: scouting, store design and getting stores operational

6. Store Operations & SOPs

- Set targets and run the daily operating rhythm: huddles, reviews and follow-ups

- Own customer experience across all ECs through standard SOPs, store upkeep and regular inspections
