Retail Head - Luxury Retail - Premium/Luxury Retail

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager for a leading brand based in Mumbai, with a strong presence in the premium and luxury retail space.

The role offers an opportunity to lead the existing retail business while playing a critical role in the brands next phase of growth and evolution towards luxury. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in premium retail, with the maturity, customer orientation and commercial mindset required to operate in a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead retail operations with a strong focus on sales, profitability, customer experience and retail excellence.

- Drive consistently high standards of premium and luxury customer experience across the retail network.

- Strengthen store performance, productivity and operational effectiveness.

- Lead, develop and build high-performing retail teams.

- Establish and enhance processes, systems and retail standards to support business growth and scalability.

- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business strategy into retail execution.

- Play a key role in scaling the retail footprint, including supporting new store launches and expansion initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to elevate the brand's retail experience and strengthen its positioning within the premium-to-luxury segment.

- Use retail performance metrics and market insights to drive informed business decisions.

- Build organisational capability and a strong retail culture as the business enters its next phase of growth.

Candidate Profile:

- 12+ years of experience in premium, luxury or high-end retail.

- Strong understanding of premium customer experience, retail operations and commercial performance.

- Experience managing retail teams, store networks and business performance.

- Candidates from premium retail brands with strong customer-centric and service-led environments are encouraged to apply.

- Exposure to luxury retail or experience in transitioning / elevating a premium retail business towards luxury will be an advantage.

- Experience in retail expansion, new store launches and business scaling would be preferred.

- Strong commercial acumen combined with a deep understanding of customer experience.

- Mature people leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to build processes, teams and retail capabilities for scale.

- Strategic yet hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership and execution.
