Field Extension of the Head Office Structural Discipline

Reports To: Regional Structural Team Leads at HO

Work Location: Site Project Management Office

Education: BE / BTech Civil Engineering. Masters in Construction Management preferred

Experience: 810 years of structural execution with reputed civil contractors, EPC firms or developers

1. VFC Drawing Governance

• Final review of VFC drawings before issue for construction.
• Identify missing details, sections, schedules and execution information.
• Review drawings against approved consumption indices.
• Review shell drawings before aluminium formwork procurement.

2. Structural Consumption Governance

• Monitor reinforcement and concrete consumption trends.
• Identify and report deviations from approved budgets.
• Promote efficient cut-and-bend and material-efficiency practices.

3. Constructability & Execution Readiness

• Assess buildability, sequencing and reinforcement placement feasibility.
• Identify execution risks before work starts.

4. Structural Quality Assurance

• Conduct field audits of structural works.
• Review couplers, splices, embeds and critical structural components.

5. Coordination & Structural Representation

• Act as field extension of the HO Structural Team.
• Maintain regular liaison with HO and support closure of technical queries.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Capture lessons learned and standardization opportunities.
• Provide feedback to improve standards, shell drawings and execution practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong understanding of RCC construction, reinforcement detailing and construction sequencing.
• Experience with formwork systems including aluminium formwork.
• Ability to independently review VFC drawings and identify constructability concerns.
• Practical understanding of material efficiency and reinforcement optimization.
• Sound site judgment and ability to evaluate buildability and execution risks.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
