RD Optics Manufacturing Test Engineering Manager

• Create and lead a new manufacturing test engineering team in Nokia Optics RD Bangalore
• Analyze the RD HW designs for in-circuit test and boundary scan coverage.
• Define test strategy, design and deploy cost-effective, automated test solutions for manufacturing.
• Hand-over the test solutions to the Nokia Supply Chain Test Engineering team and the factories.
• Support the factories and the Nokia Supply Chain Test Engineering with tester and product failure analysis.
• Technical interface between RD labs, manufacturing partners and Nokia Supply Chain.
• Support administrative tasks such as asset management, order management, formal audits.
• 10+ years of HW design or manufacturing test automation experience.

• Experience with any of NI Test Stand, Visual Basic, Phyton, TCL.

• Leadership experience and setting aggressive goals.
• Knowledge in optical technologies and assemblies.
• Knowledge in debug, root cause analysis and manufacturing data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with optical measurement instruments.

• Good understanding of Supply Chain processes.

• A BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong experience in Electronic Hardware or Manufacturing Test Solution development or both.
• Strong experience working cross-location and cross-country.
• Autonomously managing and tracking your team's projects.
• Availability for international travel.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.
