R&D Principal Technologist

Job Title: RD Principal Technologist, Product Development

Location: Bangalore, India

Employment Type: Full-time

To work as part of AVEVA's Connect common services team to research, design and implement AVEVA's cloud platform using Microsoft Azure. We are looking for developers with a proven record of successfully implementing complex technical solutions, and leading others in doing so at scale, including the application of AI-assisted development.

• Design, develop, test, and debug software applications in C#/.NET
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and teams across our global organization
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain high-quality standards
• Work in an agile environment with continuous integration and deployment
• Contribute to both new features and maintaining existing codebases
• Grow your technical skills and share knowledge with the team
• To actively use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality

• Over 8 years of Professional experience
• Proven strong design and coding skills with a reputation for delivering quality results quickly
• REST API Design Principles using C#/.NET
• Web development using Angular or equivalent
• Cloud development, especially Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools
• Familiarity with agile methodologies

We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote. The working arrangement for this position will be confirmed.
