Qualification: BE. / Dip in Civil Engineeing

Location: Bangalore

Age: with 35 Yrs

Experience : 5 - 7 Yrs as a quantity Surveyor

Salary: Rs 5.to 7 Laksh per annum

Client : An NGO- volunteer-driven nonprofit focused on transforming rural education in India by building and upgrading schools across India .

JOB DICREIPTION:

• Civil Engineering degree with 4 - 7 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction Projects,Involves Preparation of Project Estimate, Tendering, Preparation of Comparative statement, Supporting in negotiation with contractor, Preparation of Tender committee recommendation, work orders, Purchase order to vendor, Verification of running and final bill and preparation of COP for release of payment, Preparation of Rate analysis .

• Capacity to handle multiple projects across different geographies.
• Strong experience in institutional / Schools Building, Public building construction and contractor management preferred .
• Co ordinating with architect and Structural engineer and get the drawings prepared
• Preparation of BOQ and Estimate • Preparation of tender document
• Floating of tenders
• Preparation of comparative statement
• Preparation of contract document
• Issue of drawings to contractor
• Verification of contractor bills
• Uploading of drawings and quality documents to G drive
• Tracking and updating of project schedules
• Co ordinating with operation team to prepare and update project schedules
• High integrity and strong commitment to transparency and accountability.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. (English and Hindi)
• Remuneration will be in line with the social sector norms
